Ever since I was a kid, I loved the Hoff. Knight Rider was one of my favorite shows and the iconic Baywatch series made sunny Southern California seem like a vacation spot compared to my rainy hometown of Port Orchard, Washington.

Producers at our sister network COZI-TV recently acquired both shows and approached Hoff’s daughter, Taylor Ann Hasselhoff, about putting together a series of cheeky promo spots.

With that, “Hoff-a-Minute” came to life– a series of TMZ like spoofs that covered all things Hoff.  And kicking it off was the big announcement confirming the famed lifeguard would be joining the cast of the new Baywatch feature film alongside Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

We taped several spots where each week, the “Hoff-A-Minute” News Bureau tracked “The Hoff”’s every move. Exclusive video content from David provided loyal fans an inside look at what it’s like to “hang with ‘The Hoff.’”

Alan Goodman (a fantastic writer) produced the spots, I line-produced and did camera.

Taylor-Ann has served as a special correspondent on television’s Entertainment Tonight, and also appeared in a variety of television and film roles, including Baywatch, as well as E!’s popular reality series Rich Kids of Beverly Hills. Taylor-Ann is also an accomplished singer; her song and video “Collide” premiered during the summer of 2015.

Both Taylor and David were great to work with. David proved he has a great sense of humor and was gracious enough to pose for a few staff photos.
